About Program
The program is about creating a local mechanism to provide preventive care for small rumminents (sheep and goats) and poultry. These help support the family income and it is important that the animals are well taken care of.

Project Purpose/Objective
1) To improve coverage of primary animal healthcare services and surveillance activities towards increased economic benefits for the rural poor. 2) To evolve the beneficiary’s institutional mechanism for self-reliant sustainability. 3) To influence policy and programs at the local, district and regional/state level for replication of the model.
